Captain Gregg and His Dog.Providence: H.H. Brown, 1831.
This is a scarce copy of an adventure story about an injured soldier and his loyal dog who survive the perils of the American Revolution in upstate New York. I was able to successfully bid on this book at a recent Swann auction through the kind assistance of AAS member Joseph Felcone.

I have a copy of this same booklet that was handed down in our family. I am curious as to its history and value. Might you be able to forward some information? Thanks Jon Moore
Hello, I have a copy of this booklet that was handed down from my grandmother. I am curious about its history and value. Would you be able to tell me more about it?
Do you still have this book?
This story was also published in
the ‘Massachusetts Journal’ circa 1831. Also reprinted in newspapers.
Hello is this book still in your collection? James Gregg was my 5xgreat uncle. My direct ancestor went to war with him as a drummer.
I would love to see the story.
